17、什么是系統(tǒng)冗余?
在一些對系統(tǒng)可靠性要求很高的應(yīng)用中，DCS的設(shè)計需要考慮熱備份也就是系統(tǒng)冗余，這是指系統(tǒng)中一些關(guān)鍵模塊或網(wǎng)絡(luò)在設(shè)計上有一個或多個備份，當(dāng)現(xiàn)在工作的部分出現(xiàn)問題時，系統(tǒng)可以通過特殊的軟件或硬件自動切換到備份上，從而保證了系統(tǒng)不間斷工作。通常設(shè)計的冗余方式包括：CPU冗余、網(wǎng)絡(luò)冗余、電源冗余。在極端情況下，一些系統(tǒng)會考慮全系統(tǒng)冗余，即還包括I/O冗余。
18、什么是I/O余量?
與冗余不同，I/O余量只是系統(tǒng)中I/O數(shù)量大于應(yīng)用的要求，這種余量只是數(shù)量上的，主要目的是使系統(tǒng)今后有繼續(xù)加入控制信號的可能。
自動化
工業(yè)控制自動化主要包含三個層次，從下往上依次是基礎(chǔ)自動化、過程自動化和管理自動化，其核心是基礎(chǔ)自動化和過程自動化。
