The CCT189 (body) and CCT191 (head) Low Contrast Phantoms are designed for low contrast imaging buations as defined by the MITA CT IQ Task Group. These phantoms replace the earlier CCT183 phantom.
Both phantoms have eight contrast rods buated at manufacturing to be within 0.05% density or ±0.5 HU of target values. The symmetric bing of the contrast b make these phantoms ideal for conducting forced choice and rating scale experiments for buating reconstruction algorithms.
