GENERAL
This document introduces the OPS Value Up Kit for CENTUM VP, which contains the software and hardware needed for upgrading a CENTUM V’s operator station (COPSV) or CENTUM-XL’s operator station (EOPS) to a CENTUM VP’s human interface station (HIS).
To migrate from an existing CENTUM V or CENTUM-XL system, a COPSV or EOPS is to be replaced with an HIS, the existing field control stations are to be connected to a V net of the CENTUM VP via a bus converter, and other legacy equipment can continue to be used. The OPS Value Up Kit for CENTUM VP offers the basic software of the CENTUM VP’s HIS plus a BCV-L bus converter (hardware), making it ideal for adding Exaquantum, Exapilot, or Exabif, or for incrementally migrating an existing CENTUM V or CENTUM-XL system.
