These applications are with wide ambient temperature differentials and pressure spans. With the new ERS System Enhanced accuracy specifications, customers can determine the product perbance of their ERS system without a separate software application. The Enhanced perbance specification combines both temperature effects and accuracy specification into a single, easy to understand specification. Emerson Presents Approved Emerson Presents the Wireless Deep Hole Measurement Solution Deep hole level measurement has been a difficult challenge in many applications ranging from earthen dams to plunger arrival. A specific mining facility in South America bed Emerson to investigate in a new solution to help with these applications. Emerson was tasked to create an all new wireless solution to help accuraby measure the level within the dam to prevent the dam wall from collapsing. With the help of the end user, a new wireless deep hole measuring solution was created to alleviate this pain. A mining facility in South America faced a severe environmental accident in 2015 when a dam holding back a sea of sludge collapsed, releasing a deluge that resulted in several fatal injuries, destroyed villages and traveled more than 400 miles to the Atlantic Ocean contaminating the waters. This mining company faced fines up to $66M USD and operations were suspended. Mining companies that use this solution see several benefits such as: prevention of Dam wall collapse by early alert of high phreatic level, increase operators' safety by avoiding multiple trips to the field to do manual measurements and as this solution provides power to sensor, solar panels are no longer required, simplifying the installation and decreasing costs. These Dams are located in remote places where the access is complicated, the terrain is irregular and there is no power, requiring a wireless monitoring solution to measure the phreatic level on the soil to prevent it's collapse.? This abstract shows how a new modular and flexible multiphase meter (as opposed to the expensive meters of the past) is leading to efficient and cost-effective well pad operations with reduced equipment and improved real-time well perbance monitoring. Whereas previously well pads often had a test separator per well (up to 10 in total), the new meter is a modular, flexible and compact alternative, perbing real-time well testing and reservoir monitoring in all conditions. Operators can reduce costs per well pad by as much as 50%, double the efficiencies of field technicians, and meet the changing needs of the well over the reservoir life. The need to reduce CAPEX and improve well pad efficiencies through a reduced equipment footprint (many well pads have up to 10 separators); The lack of automation, flexibility and cost-effectiveness in multiphase metering for well testing; The need to make field technicians more efficient; And the challenge of still delivering improved real-time well & reservoir data.
